SEGI Drop-in is a weekly support service for members of the Trans community. There is no membership or subscription fees to attend the sessions which take place at the MGSD Centre every Thusrday apart from the first Thursday of the month.

The sessions are open from 5.30pm to 9pm.

The service is open to all under the Trans umbrella family and friends including:

Trans, Transgender, Non-binary, Gender non-conforming and those questioning their gender identity.

You are welcome to attend dressed as you feel most comfortable and you are welcome to bring a friend, carer or family member with you is you wish.

The sessions are facilitated by a volunteer member of the trans community and are a social opportunity to meet other community members in a supportive atmosphere.

The Drop-in sessions provide peer support, advice & signposting to other service providers who may be offering help to support individual needs. There are no age restrictions on attending the sessions, but we also host a young trans group on a Wednesday and a parents and carers group on the first Thursday of the month.

Soft drinks and snacks are available but no alcohol or smoking (including vaping) is allowed in the centre building.

We also offer virtual support services for this group on WhatsApp and Zoom. The WhatsApp group allows members to contact each other and reach out for support between and during meetings. The zoom sessions are available during the meetings to allow individuals to attend virtually.

If you wish to attend or need further information please email info@mgsd-centre.org or leave a message on 01634 408668.

We are working with The Ship Inn Rochester to provide a social group meeting on the first thursday of the month called Transclusive
